I get as far as setting up concerning their BT printer adapter!Īnyone out there have success with setting up a usb He (at Epson) said it was never designed to work as a replacement for the USB cable! Also, many tech-support People at Epson STILL provide incorrect/misleading info. I learned all this after calling Epson many times (and AppleCare) and finally getting someone at Epson that really knew the product. Then I could print wirelessly from within any application with the added benefits (speaker connection, wireless internet) of the Apple Air Port Express. For a bit more money, I should have bought an Apple Air Port Express ($99 Used - Apple Store) and used it's USB connection (I know this would work). I paid about $75 for the Epson BT Adapter. The Epson BT adapter was only intended (lame in my opinion) for sending files from another BT enabled device (phone, PDA, etc.) but NOT for Printing from within a computer application. Again, you can Only "BT-Menu-Send" JPG files to the wireless BT adapter !

If you attempt to Print (from within an application) via the BT wireless connection, you only get garbage printed. In short, the Espon printer adapter can ONLY receive JPG files "sent" via the BT "Send" Menu-choice (BTW-you receive an error when attempting to send PDFs).

Got the same error messages (can't locate driver) when attempting to use the Apple BT Setup Assistant. However, this BT adapter does Not work as avertised/implied on Epson's web site, and according to Epson "was never intended as an all purpose BT printer-connection". I thought it would work just like plugging-in the printer via the USB cable (my printer is a Epson RX700).

I bought the Epson BT Photo Print Adapter (C12C824142) from the Epson Online Store. Just experienced the same situation over the last 4 months.
